Who We Are

Mid-America Youth Aviation Association (MAYAA) is a not-for-profit group that provides educational aviation and aeronautic opportunities for youngsters. MAYAAís goal is to bring together youth and aviation professionals so that young people will have the chance to learn about the many careers available in aviation and related fields.

We were formed in 1998 by a group of dedicated aviation professionals and others with a love of aviation and a desire to promote careers in aviation for youth.

This volunteer organization produces the KC Aviation Expo & Airshow. Support of the Airshow and its associated education programs is provided for by donations and sale of tickets to the airshow. All other education programs are provided free of charge.
